As its name suggests, the Gloria Serenity Resort is an ideal choice for a luxurious, relaxing, and peaceful break. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful pine forests of Belek, this is a resort in its own right with its own private beach, three golf courses (two championship ones), and its own spa and beauty programme. Located just a 45-minute drive from the airport, and six and a half kilometres from the centre of Belek, the Gloria Serenity Resort is perfect for getting out and about.
As for the facilities of the hotel, well there is so much to indulge in during your stay. As mentioned, the resort has three golf courses, and there is a daily complimentary shuttle bus throughout the day taking guests to and from the resort. The resort boasts two outdoor pools (one saltwater and one freshwater) with a kids section, as well as an indoor freshwater pool. There is plenty of daily entertainment such as arts & crafts, and sports.
There are also eight different à la carte restaurants (including four for guests booking the All Inclusive option) offering an array of delicious foods, and eight bars covering all manner of nightlife and entertainment.
Of course, a resort like Gloria Serenity Resort means you don’t have to get out and about, but, when in Rome or Turkey – as they say! The huge benefit is that the surroundings are so gorgeous they make exploration more than worth it. For a cultural fix, make sure you head to the ancient city of Perge, found 36 kilometres away, where you can see the majestic Roman ruins.
This is a culturally and historically significant location, and somewhere all visitors should sample. There is also the Kursunlu Waterfall, with over 100 species of bird, and a hidden cave. Don’t forget the Land of Legends Theme Park as well as other golf courses, such as PGA Sultan. The location is ideal for experiencing some of the sights and sounds of Belek and the Antalya region.
