Turkey Holiday Offers

Turkey is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Holidays in Turkey combine rich historical and archaeological sites, beautifully diverse landscapes, and a modern tourist infrastructure. Turkey enjoys a unique geographical position – where the three continents of the old world, (Asia, Africa and Europe) are closest. Known as ‘the cradle of civilization’, Turkey’s history spans across the Hittites, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Greeks and Ottomans. Ancient cities are scattered with an abundance of religious shrines, monuments, tombs and ruins.

Turkey is surrounded by sea on three sides and boasts a beautifully diverse landscape. Its pine-clad mountains, 300 natural lakes, and maze of winding rivers offer action-packed holidays, perfect for skiers, climbers, water sports-enthusiasts, hikers and bikers. The country’s rectangular-shaped coast spans over 5000 miles in length and is lined with beautiful golden-sand beaches, hidden coves, turquoise waters and pretty harbours.

Holidays in Turkey offer a wide range of accommodation to suit all budgets, including all-inclusive complexes, small family-run hotels, and luxury apartment buildings. The development of both summer and winter resorts has secured the country’s year-round appeal: Turkey’s long summers, between April and October, attract thousands of sun worshippers to its stretch of sandy beaches; and during the winter, the Anatolian Mountains in the north and Taurus Mountains in the south experience snow cover for six months of the year – perfect for skiers.

The embodiment of West meeting East, Turkey’s seemingly conflicting ideologies somehow combine to create a unique destination filled with history, culture and sunshine. Wherever you go in Turkey you’ll feel the heritage of one of the most historically contested lands on the planet. This past has contributed to a famed passion amongst the locals, who are as hospitable as they come. Bordered by four seas and eight countries, Turkey holidays are some of the most diverse on the planet but all promise the same thing, sunshine, with the resorts of Antalya and Altinkum perfect for all inclusive holidays. Relics of fallen empires, legendary culture and perpetual warmth, is it any wonder that cheap Turkey holidays are so popular?
