The luxurious Porto Sani hotel is part of the Sani Resort, a family-owned ecological reserve that’s spread across 1,000 acres. Located around the glamorous Sani Marina, Porto Sani is an all-suite hotel that’s 300 metres away from a sweeping curve of sand. It’s set among landscaped gardens and designed as a small village, with a lagoon-style pool, an adults-only pool and a children’s pool. Guests can relax in their own private section at Sea You beach or visit nearby Bousoulas beach. Other facilities include tennis courts, a PADI dive centre, a watersports centre, mountain bikes, a gym and much more.
The spa is also a highlight – it has a steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, a heated indoor pool and a menu with aromatherapy treatments designed by Anne Sémonin. You can choose from four dining options: an à la carte restaurant, an al fresco Mediterranean restaurant, a gourmet restaurant that focuses on the world’s finest caviar, and a poolside bar serving salads and light bites. Supplements may apply, depending on board basis selection.

The Daily Telegraph describes Halkidiki as ‘utterly unspoilt’, and with swathes of forest, white-sand coastlines and picturesque Greek villages, they were definitely onto something. The Sani Dunes is located on the Toroneos Gulf, on the most westerly of Halkidiki’s three peninsulas. The city of Thessaloniki is just over an hour’s drive away and more than worth a visit. When there, be sure to climb the ancient walls at sunset, stop for a cocktail on the waterfront, and visit one of the many UNESCO World Heritage-listed Byzantine monuments. Closer to the hotel you’ll find the Bousoulas bird sanctuary, the traditional village of Siviri and the eerie caves of Petralona, where the oldest human remains ever found in Greece were discovered. We also recommend a visit to Athitos, just 20 minutes by car. This completely pedestrianised traditional village has cobblestoned streets and a pretty square, as well as plenty of traditional tavernas where you can while away the afternoon.
