Surrounded by glorious Mediterranean scenery, this recently refurbished four-star hotel enjoys a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik but is still close enough to visit this fabulous walled city by local bus.
The hotel is proud of its new infinity pools, one with a waterfall. From the sunbathing area, you’ll experience incredible views over the coastline and the Elaphiti islands. Children have their own pool and a Kids Club for 3-12 year olds. If you’re a beach lover then the pebble Cava Beach is about 200m away and here you’ll find the Coral Beach Club with sun loungers & umbrellas (charges payable) and a range of light meals and refreshments. Be aware that the furthest part of the beach is reserved for serious naturists. If you’re worried about your waistline, you’ll find a fully equipped gym with cardio equipment and other activities on offer include aerobics, badminton, basketball, football, handball, even dance classes! NB – some sports activities are located at the sister hotel, Valamar Club Dubrovnik, which is situated approximately 500m away.Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant with the Mezzino Snack Bar offering light meals and snacks by the poolside.

Enjoy a gentle coastal walk around the eastern side of the Lapad peninsula and enjoy dramatic views and frequent refreshment stops. A city tour of Dubrovnik and a walk around its city walls is an absolute must during your holiday. It’s easily reached by local bus, but do try to arrive earlier or later in the day as the city can get very crowded, especially when there’s a cruise ship in. The views of the city from the top of the cable car are breathtaking. You’ll need your passport to visit two of Dubrovnik’s neighbours. Mostar in Bosnia has bazaars where you’ll be invited to take tea or Turkish coffee with the stall holders. En-route you should stop to cool down at the Kravce Waterfalls. Or why not travel south to the small country of Montenegro and explore Kotor and Budva? Game of Thrones fans are in for a treat as Dubrovnik was the setting for Kings’ Landing, capital city of Westeros. You can see where King Joffrey faced a citizens’ riot and the site of the Battle of Blackwater.
