There’s certainly never a dull moment at the Club and Hotel Letoonia! This 4-star all-inclusive hotel is almost a resort in its own right. It’s located in a picturesque forest setting on a private peninsula with amazing views over the blue Aegean and the town of Fethiye which is about 7 kms away and reached by a boat shuttle. In the day you’re spoilt for choice.

Will you choose to relax on one of the three private beaches or beside one of the Club and Hotel Letoonia’s four swimming pools? Three of them have a children’s section and one is reserved for children only. There are even water slides dropping directly into the sea (height restrictions apply)! Children will be kept entertained and busy at the Kids Clubs – one for 4-7 years, the other for 8-12 years – both with a range of well supervised games and activities. It’s the sort of place where they probably won’t want to go home at the end of their holiday. The list of activities for adults runs from A to Z – well from A – Y anyway! There’s everything from archery, to basketball, to beach volleyball, dance lessons, step-aerobics to yoga.

In the evenings, the village centre comes to life with some amazing shows suitable for all the family. Circus shows, cabaret evenings and shows based on themes such as Michael Jackson, Alladin, Lord of the Dance even the Adams Family! If you’ve still got any energy left, there are occasional late night beach parties.Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in the main Lykia restaurant although for a small supplement you can opt to eat in one of the three à la carte restaurants. ‘Dolphin’ specialises in fresh local fish, ‘Kebab’ in Turkish cuisine as its name suggests and ‘Sushi’ in Japanese dishes. And there are no less than 8 bars serving everything from just a cold beer to exotic cocktails.

These days Fethiye is associated with sunshine and beach holidays but in fact, the area’s history goes back some 4,000 years and there are plenty of places well worth exploring. The town’s natural harbour is overlooked by rock tombs dating back to the 4th century set in the cliffside. The town has an excellent museum of artifacts and nearby Tlos is an ancient Lycian hilltop citadel as well as some of the greatest hotels like Club and Hotel Letoonia.

Probably Turkey’s most photographed beach at Ölüdeniz is only a short drive away as is the Butterfly Valley, home to many diverse species of these beautiful, delicate creatures. If you’re travelling with the family, they’ll no doubt clamour to be taken to the Sultans Aqua Park for some hair raising water slides.
