Everything at the 5-star Titanic Deluxe Bodrum is on a grand scale. It’s located just outside historic Bodrum on a 400m long beach where sunbeds are replaced by Balinese beds and private cabanas with a VIP bar serving cool drinks and snacks all day. In the Titanic Deluxe Bodrum hotel itself there’s a huge pool with sunbeds and hammocks and you and the family will love the on-site Aqua Park and the Splash Park with its water guns and water cannons.
The Tini Kids Club (4-12 years) is run by professional multilingual staff who’ll keep them occupied with team games, story time, movie nights and a mini-disco. There’s also a playground and a soft play area with a ball pit and a TV/movie zone. For adults, there’s an air-conditioned gym and a superb spa with elegant Aegean massage and treatment rooms offering a range of beauty and purification programmes. The Titanic Deluxe Bodrum hotel is located in the village of Guvercinlik on the outskirts of Bodrum and offers an abundance of water sports. The actual town of Bodrum is found a 20-minute drive away and offers a unique mix of beaches and history. Bodrum stands on the ruins of the ancient Greek town of Halicarnassus, and as you explore the city you’ll discover lots of archaeological sites that showcase this. Start your exploration from the historical centre of the city, the ancient castle. The 15th-century Castle of St Peter has stood guard over the sea for almost 700 years. Today it’s home to various museums, including the fascinating and award-winning Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
If you want to continue your historical journey through the city, then head to either the Myndos Gate or the Bodrum Amphitheatre, both of which will take you back to days when the city was held by the Romans. The Saturday market at Turgutreis is the place to pick up some local handicrafts and souvenirs. One of the most pleasant ways of exploring the area is to take one of the many boat trips on offer. We recommend the one to Rabbit Island with its mud spa or why not head for charming Gumusluk Bay just east of the city which is noted for its fish restaurants on the seafront.
